Imago Therapy with Dr. Jill Morris - Practice

Dr. Morris began her practice 25 years ago as a modern psychoanalyst. Her interest in dreams inspired her to do individual dream therapy as well as psychoanalysis, and to teach classes and give dream workshops. (Her most current dream workshop is in February at The Center for Modern Psychoanalytic Studies in New York City.)

She is well versed in many different approaches to dreamwork, including Jungian and Gestalt. In 1999 she studied Integrated Feeling Therapy as a way of reaching and integrating people's early childhood memories...which results in clients feeling a greater sense of wholeness and authenticity.

One year later, she trained in Imago Relationship Therapy (IRT), and now works intensively with couples. IRT uncovers the unmet needs of each partner, while offering concrete skills for relating in a more conscious and satisfying way.

She also practices group therapy. Group work enables clients to face the difficulties they encounter in their social interactions.

Her practice includes all of the above.
